With over 20 years of experience serving those suffering from substance use disorders (aka Alcohol and Drug Addiction) the mission of AFO is to provide a pathway to freedom from dependence on drugs. To free the sufferer and their families from the misery and hopelessness that is addiction.

Over the last 16 years involved in MAT evidence based treatment I have discovered the good and the bad in regard to the MAT model of treatment.  Researched and observed evidence based treatment that so many are following and have developed a program that can free those who are wanting to be unchained from their dependence on substances once and for all.

• Consulting services to assure that MAT is an effective Medication Assisted Treatment not an indefinite Medication Dependence Treatment.

The Mission is to bring hope and happiness back into the lives of those suffering from addiction to or dependence on Opiate narcotics, Methadone, Suboxone, and other drugs.

This is an abstinence-based program that offers addiction education and support program referral services.

We have found that with education and support a substance dependent individual can learn to like who they are and have more confidence and purpose, so that the need for drugs is no longer necessary.

We believe that real recovery from addiction requires more than medication.  Real long term recovery requires a change in lifestyle and a change in thinking.
